Serdang Bedagai, May 23, 2025 – Regal Springs Indonesia (PT Aqua Farm Nusantara) has once again demonstrated its commitment to community development around the company’s operational area by inaugurating the “Our Cheerful Village Library” and distributing nutritious fish-based food to around 200 elementary school children in Naga Kisar Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency.
This activity is part of the company’s ongoing program to support the growth and development of children around the operational area, especially through increasing literacy and nutritional adequacy.
Throughout 2024, Regal Springs Indonesia has distributed more than 3,000 nutritious food packages to children in the areas around the company’s operational area of Serdang Bedagai Regency, Toba Regency and Samosir Regency as part of the company’s social commitment.
Director of Regal Springs Indonesia, Sri Rusmianawati, said that this activity is a real manifestation of synergy between the private sector and the government in building a healthy and intelligent golden generation.
“We believe that nutrition and literacy are the main foundations in children’s growth and development. Through Pustaka Mini Ceria and nutritious food made from tilapia fish, we hope that children in Naga Kisar Village will not only grow up healthy, but also have the spirit to continue learning,” she said in her opening remarks.
In his remarks, Deputy Regent of Serdang Bedagai Regency Adlin Umar Yusri Tambunan also expressed his appreciation to Regal Springs Indonesia “Thank you to PT Aqua Farm Nusantara for contributing to the construction of this library facility. The hope is that this library can be utilized optimally for children to see the world,” said Adlin
He added that in order to realize Indonesia Emas in 2045, children must be accustomed to consuming healthy and nutritious foods, one of which is fish.

This activity was also attended by the Head of the Library and Archives Service Elinda Sitianur, Head of the Marine & Fisheries Service of Serdang Bedagai Regency Claudia Namora Siregar, Head of the BKKBN Service Helminur Iskandar Sinaga, Head of Pantai Cermi Sub-district Andi Akbar, community leaders, teachers, and students.
The Ceria Kita Library provides a child-friendly reading room equipped with educational books, in order to foster an interest in reading from an early age.
On the same occasion, Regal Springs Indonesia also distributed nutritious lunch packages with tilapia as the main ingredient, the result of the company’s sustainable cultivation practices in Lake Toba.
Tilapia fish is a source of high-quality protein, low in fat, and rich in essential nutrients such as vitamin D3, minerals, omega 3 and other nutrients, making it the right choice to support children’s growth and cognitive development.
Tilapia consumption promotion is also part of Regal Springs Indonesia’s support for the national program GEMARIKAN (Gerakan Memasyarakatkan Makan Ikan) initiated by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
This activity is part of Regal Springs Indonesia’s social responsibility (CSR) program which focuses on community empowerment, improving nutrition, education, and environmental preservation.
