Regal Springs Indonesia continues its Sustainability and Social Responsibility Program, KAMI PEDULI, by forging partnerships with Bukit Barisan Regional Military Command (Kodam) I, Deli Serdang District Military Command (Kodim) 0204, and Serdang Bedagai Regency Government in a COVID-19 vaccination program for 1,000 individuals at Pantai Cermin, Serdang Bedagai, North Sumatra, on Monday (7/26).
“Vaccination is crucial in controlling COVID-19 infections, and we are thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to partner with Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, Kodim 0204/Deli Serdang as the COVID-19 Task Force implementation team, and Serdang Bedagai Regency Government to carry out the vaccination program for 1,000 individuals residing in Pantai Cermin and Perbaungan Subdistricts, Serdang Bedagai, near our tilapia processing facilities,” said Dian Octavia, Senior Manager of Corporate & Community Affairs at Regal Springs Indonesia.
Dian stated that the aim of this program is to support the government’s accelerated vaccination program for the community. “The company has implemented a COVID-19 risk management plan since February 2020. Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and the local community,” added Dian. In the same event, Agus Kafid, Director of Human Resources, mentioned that this initiative is also an effort to create a safe environment from COVID-19. “When the community is safe, the continuity of the company’s operations is also better assured,” explained Agus Kafid.
“We express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional support from Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, Kodim 0204/Deli Serdang, Serdang Bedagai Regent, Serdang Bedagai Health Department, Serdang Bedagai Police, Pantai Cermin Police Station, Pantai Cermin Subdistrict Head, Pantai Cermin Community Health Center, village heads, and all parties involved in this activity,” said Agus.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Regal Springs Indonesia has implemented special efforts through the KAMI PEDULI Program Against COVID-19 to encourage employees and the community to follow government guidelines to reduce infections and address concerns related to vaccination.
