PT AquaFarm Nusantara Implements Regular COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Testing Program for Toba Aquaculture Employees

As part of the “KAMI PEDULI (We Care) Program for COVID-19,” the company has been implementing its COVID-19 Risk Management Plan since February 2020. The company is currently conducting the third series of regular COVID-19 antigen rapid testing program for all employees at the Toba Aquaculture facility, starting on Tuesday (18/5) at the Ajibata office.

“This is a periodic prevention program, and we particularly implemented it after the long holiday period when the risk of infection increased due to many employees traveling and participating in social activities,” said D. Tampubolon, Head of Corporate Affairs at PT AquaFarm Nusantara.

In this program, all 480 employees at the 5 Toba Lake Aquaculture locations will undergo the test.
“Our highest priority is the safety, health, and well-being of our employees, local communities, and stakeholders,” said Tampubolon.

He added, “The company has successfully implemented the COVID-19 Risk Management Plan within the company premises since February 2020. The plan includes standard operating procedures that must be followed by all employees at all times to reduce the risk of coronavirus transmission in the workplace. The company does not allow visitors to enter the company’s work facilities unless they are employees who undergo daily checks or limited external employees who present negative Covid test results, in order to help reduce the risk to the wider community.

As part of the “KAMI PEDULI (We Care) Program for COVID-19,” Regal Springs Indonesia has collaborated with the local governments of Serdang Bedagai, Samosir, and Toba to provide hand soap, disinfectant materials, mobile hand washing stations, and educational materials to community health centers and villages.
