Regal Springs Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Alois Hofbauer as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Regal Springs Group. Alois brings with him 30 years of experience in large-scale corporate operations, with a track record of change management and commercial achievements in the consumer goods industry. His most recent position was CEO of Almarai Group in Saudi Arabia, one of the largest food processing groups in the Middle East, where he designed the blueprint for the company’s new business growth.
Prior to that, Alois served as CEO of Nestlé (Malaysia) Bhd for five years, a publicly listed company on the Malaysian stock exchange, overseeing the markets of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, where he achieved consistent commercial success and built a highly praised employee development culture, earning awards such as ‘Top 3 Places to Work’ and ‘Company of the Year 2016’. Before that, Alois was the Managing Director of Nestlé Sri Lanka and, prior to that, the Managing Director of Nestlé Taiwan for over 10 years.
In these roles, Alois led major change programs that delivered impressive commercial results and received corporate citizenship recognition awards. He has held various senior positions in Sales & Product Management in Austria from 1990 to 1995, followed by Marketing positions in Hong Kong and later Sales, Business Development & Brand Management roles in China from 1998 to 2004. Alois holds a Master’s degree in Economics & Business from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, and has served on the board of directors of several companies.
