Regal Springs Indonesia Provides Clean Water Aid for Flash Flood Victims in Parapat

Simalungun, March 18, 2025 – As a form of concern for communities affected by the flash flood in Kelurahan Parapat, Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, Regal Springs Indonesia (PT Aqua Farm Nusantara) has provided clean water assistance for residents in need.

A total of five 12-ton water trucks were deployed to ensure the availability of clean water for the affected areas.

The flash flood, which occurred on March 16, 2025, caused damage to several homes and infrastructure in Parapat and the surrounding areas.

In response to this situation, Regal Springs Indonesia immediately mobilized a team to help distribute clean water and provide logistical support to the evacuation teams on the ground.

“We deeply sympathize with the disaster victims and are committed to providing aid that can be immediately beneficial to the community. Clean water is an urgent need after a disaster, and we hope this assistance will help ease the burden of those affected,” said Agam Sinaga, CSR Manager of Regal Springs Indonesia.

Viktor Ramana Saragih, Acting Head of Girsang Sipangan Bolon District, expressed appreciation to all parties involved in the disaster recovery efforts.

“We hope more organizations will participate in post-disaster recovery efforts,” said Viktor.

In addition to distributing clean water, Regal Springs Indonesia also provided operational support for the emergency response team on-site, including personnel, sacks, fuel, and food supplies.

This aid was delivered in coordination with the Girsang Sipangan Bolon District Office and local disaster response teams to ensure it reached the right beneficiaries and met the needs on the ground.

As a company operating in the Lake Toba region, Regal Springs Indonesia is committed to continuously supporting local communities, especially in emergency situations like this. The company hopes that conditions in Parapat will soon recover, allowing residents to resume their daily activities as usual.
