Ingredients
- Fillet Tilapia Regal Springs: 200 g
- Lime: ½ piece
- Salt: ½ tsp
- Pepper: ½ tsp
- Beaten eggs: 2 pieces
- Cornstarch: 50 g
- All-purpose flour: 50 g
- Garlic powder: 1 tsp
- Sufficient cooking oil for frying
Ingredients for oat coating :
- Minced garlic: 5 cloves
- Unsalted butter: 2 tbsp
- Cooking oil: 3 tbsp
- Lime leaves: 3 pieces
- Curry leaves: 15 pieces
- Sliced red bird’s eye chili: 10-12 pieces
- Wheat cereal: 85 g
- Powdered milk: 20 g
- Minced salted egg yolk: 2 pieces
- Salt: ¼ tsp
- Granulated sugar: 1 tsp
- Seasoning powder: 1 tsp
Instructions
- Marinate the Tilapia fillet with salt, pepper, and lime juice.
- Mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and garlic powder.
- Dip the Tilapia fillet into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is evenly coated.
- Coat the fillet with the flour mixture, ensuring it is well coated.
- Heat cooking oil in a frying pan and fry the Tilapia fillet until golden brown.
- In a separate pan, heat the unsalted butter and cooking oil. Add minced garlic and sauté.
- Add lime leaves, curry leaves, sliced chili, and minced salted egg yolk. Sauté again.
- Add wheat cereal, powdered milk, salt, granulated sugar, and seasoning powder. Mix well.
- Once the cereal turns slightly yellow, add the fried Tilapia fillet.
- Cook over low heat, gently stirring until all the ingredients are well combined.
