Ingredients
For the roulade filling :
- Regal Springs Indonesia Tilapia Fillet: 350 g
- Garlic: 2 cloves
- Shallots: 2 cloves
- Salt: as needed
- Seasoning powder: as needed
- Ground pepper: as needed
- Cornstarch: 1 tbsp
- Carrot: 1 piece
- Celery: as needed
For the roulade wrapper :
- Eggs: 2
- Salt: as needed
- All-purpose flour: 4 tbsp
- Water: 50 ml
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients for the roulade filling, set aside.
- Mix all the ingredients for the roulade wrapper. Heat a non-stick pan greased with margarine.
- Pour an appropriate amount of the batter into the pan to form a full round shape. Once the wrapper starts to peel off, remove from the pan and set aside.
- Pour the roulade filling onto the egg wrapper, spread it evenly with a spoon, then roll it up.
- Roll it again with banana leaves and secure it with toothpicks on both sides.
- Heat a steamer pot, steam for about 20 minutes or until the banana leaves change color, then remove from heat.
- Unwrap the banana leaves, remove the filling, and cut it into desired pieces. Fry briefly and then remove from the pan.
- The Tilapia Roulade is ready to be served.
