Medan (16/05) Regal Springs Indonesia (PT Aqua Farm Nusantara) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting a conducive investment climate in North Sumatra by participating in the 10th Innovation and Investment Week held at Istana Maimun Medan, North Sumatra from May 15-18, 2024.
“This year marks the third time Regal Springs Indonesia has participated in this event. Our participation is an effort to support the government in building strategic communication related to investment and the region’s potential,” said Arum P. Handayani, Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs at Regal Springs Indonesia.
Arum also added that through this participation, Regal Springs Indonesia aims to play a role in opening collaboration opportunities with MSMEs in the company’s operational area, as well as educating the public about the importance of fish consumption to promote family nutrition and food security, especially in North Sumatra.
Sri Rusmianawati, Processing Plant Director at Regal Springs Indonesia, further emphasized that in line with the North Sumatra provincial government’s mission to increase green investment, Regal Springs Indonesia is committed to developing the Blue Food Movement.
“The demand for food, both locally and globally, is increasing, prompting us to continue developing our potential in the blue food movement,” said Ana.
This movement emphasizes how companies can optimally conduct aquaculture operations or fisheries cultivation productively, environmentally aware, and responsibly as an alternative sustainable food source for the future.
North Sumatra Acting Governor Hasanuddin, who opened the North Sumatra Innovation & Investment Week, also visited the Regal Springs Indonesia booth.
He also sampled dishes made from Tilapia. “This Tilapia fish tastes very good and has no muddy odor,” said Hasanuddin.
During their participation in this event, Regal Springs Indonesia presented various activities and collaborated with various parties.
These activities included health discussions, cooking demonstrations, CSR tilapia meals, cooking competitions, culinary exhibitions, as well as collaborations with MSMEs showcasing flagship products made from tilapia such as andaliman fish crackers and tilapia floss.
